These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Daft Detours mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Daft Detours LLC ("Daft Detours," "we," "us," or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801.
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, or by purchasing a tour or redeeming a code through the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Description of Service
Daft Detours provides comedic self-guided audio tours of museums and cultural sites, delivered through a mobile application. Tours are available for individual purchase. Some tour content may be available free of charge for preview purposes.
The Service is provided for entertainment and educational purposes. The comedic content reflects the perspectives of fictional characters and does not represent the official position of any museum, institution, or person depicted.
3. Account and Identity
You may use the Service anonymously to browse tours and access preview content. To purchase a tour, redeem a code, or access tours on multiple devices, you may be required to provide an email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs through your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@daftdetours.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Purchases, Pricing, and Refunds
In-app purchases. Tours purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google, respectively, and are subject to their terms and refund policies. We do not directly handle in-app payment processing or refunds for in-app purchases.
Third-party purchases. Tours purchased through third-party platforms (such as Viator, GetYourGuide, or our website) are delivered as redemption codes via email. These purchases are subject to the refund policies of the platform on which they were purchased.
Promo codes. Promotional and gift codes have no cash value, are non-transferable except as expressly permitted, and may be subject to expiration and use limitations specified at the time of issuance.
Pricing changes. We reserve the right to change tour prices at any time. Price changes do not affect tours already purchased.
5. License to Use Tours
When you purchase a tour, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use that tour through the Service. This license is for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Tours may be downloaded for offline use on up to three (3) devices associated with your account. You may not:
- Share, sell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your access to tours to any other person
- Copy, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works from any tour content (including audio, images, text, or other materials)
- Use any automated means to access or download tour content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or underlying content from the Service
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users' use of it
6. Device Limits and Account Suspension
Tours are licensed for use on up to three (3) devices per account. You may remove and re-add devices through the in-app account management i
